Present and past:

Well... sofar I didn't modify much...
The only modifications I have is a PRD Short throw shifter and a K&N Airfilter in a stock airbox.
Beginning of August i changed the tranny fluid and put some Royal Purple synthetic tranny oil in. I bought it very cheap from Racesearch.com. Shifting became a lot easier, especially with the shortened throw from the PRD shifter.
On August 12th i finally finished the install of my Eibach lowering springs...
what a PITA that was... 2 of the 4 screws for the ABS Sensors broke off :(
Cheap Autozone spark plug cables went bad after only 3 month, so i decided to go with the REAL stuff. NGK wires are responsible for spark delivering now.
I also made a Dynorun of my stock engine at July 29 2000

Future:

Because of scary moments at the Auto-X I decided to do a big brake conversion on the front wheels in the very near future.
For middle of year 2001 there is a complete engine rebuild with a stroker kit scheduled.
After the rebuild is done, a turbocharger for providing about 20psi boost is planned

Auto-X

Here are the results from my races I participated:

Utica Raceway results My first auto-x ever. I'm hooked on that racing stuff.
Here are some pics from the auto-x at Utica Raceway.
Blackhawk farms raceway results from September 30th 2000. Lots of fun.

Technical Info:

I measured the resistance of the fuel level indicator and this are my results:
Gas tank empty: 103 Ohm
Gas tank full: 2 Ohm
So in case you want do redo your instrument panel, this are the values you wanna keep in mind. Autometer gauges only go from 73 Ohm empty to 8 Ohm full.
Oh well....
